Welcome To Our Site

We're a band called I Am Not Lefthanded. There are three of us, we're Irish, Northern Irish and English, and we try to write songs that are honest and from the gut. We like to think of it as uplifting post-grunge music - but feel free to make your own judgements.

To date, we've released two EPs and we've been on the road as much as we can. We've toured Ireland, the UK and most recently, the US. Last year we raised $10,000 online, through people who wanted to support our music. We're using that money to record and release our first full-length album, The Fire & The Sigh, which will be released Summer 2011. Future plans include trips to Canada and mainland Europe, once we're finished recording.

If you've just discovered our music, we've a free sampler EP that you can listen to and download. (You'll notice it to the right.) If you can afford it, you can buy the rest - or the bits that you like, depending on your means. Any money we make goes towards rehearsal space, mastering costs, instrument repairs, petrol, website hosting fees and, if there's some money left over, the occasional cake. In other words, everything we need to make more music, and to play it for you.

We're using these invites to plan our tours and we'll do our best to make our way to you as soon as we can.
